Koll på cachen
The school project “Koll på cashen” is an educational resource about personal finance aimed at upper secondary school students.
The material is designed to increase young people's interest in and knowledge of their personal finances, while also supporting teachers in covering personal finance topics in accordance with the Swedish upper secondary curriculum (Gy25).
Koll på cashen focuses on managing finances through different stages of life. In the game, students learn about budgeting, saving, investing, home loans, and pensions – everything needed to build a secure and sustainable financial future. The game also provides insight into how macroeconomic factors such as inflation, interest rate hikes, and rising food prices affect personal finances.
The purpose of the game is to provide students with knowledge about economic issues and to raise awareness of how the economy is influenced by individuals, groups, and societal structures.
